In these COVID times, we can now offer a new payment method to ensure as little time as possible spent in the reception area.
Medipass(by NAB) is a payment solution that allows us to send the invoice to your phone via SMS which you can then review and approve with the touch of a button.
Instead of having to manually swipe your private health insurance card, you enter those details into Medipass. You only have to do it once and you can save your details for next time. This means even if you forget your card you can still get your rebate at the time of the consult.
You then enter your credit card details to take care of any gap payment.
Once the invoice is sent to you by us, Medipass sends an authentication code to your device to securely log you in to your account, review the invoice and approve.
Initial set up takes only slightly longer than processing a payment manually once and then you never have to do it again, and it doesn’t cost you a cent.
This hopefully will allow us to help minimise patient cross-over in waiting areas and speed up administration times.
If you would prefer to avoid using SMS’d links and codes, you can download the app. The app stores the same data and allows for instant payments and rebates using the same Medipass system.
This option sometimes works more effectively on iPhones for some reason..
